Fascinating addendum, worthy addition to the epic

I grew up loving the Foundation series and I’ve found this podcast a fantastic companion to the AppleTV series.

I could go on forever about my personal history with Foundation and Asimov but to sum up my relationship with Foundation in as few words as possible I would say that; in the dynasty of sci-fi novels, Foundation is Empire.

I shamefully admit that after subscribing to AppleTV for the sole purpose of watching Foundation, I shunned it at first glance for its differences to Asimov’s masterpiece. Thank goodness I tried again some 12 months later.

Yes Asimov wrote a masterpiece, albeit written piecemeal over decades out of sequence, but on its own it could never be enough to deliver the incredible production this TV series is.

The writing, the visual spectacular and genuinely stunning performances of this show are so loveable, so detailed, so beautifully thought out and developed, that I am now 110% in.

This podcast had been a fascinating addendum to the show. When I can’t be rewatching the series to pick up on one of the hundreds of intricate plot points I haven’t picked up on yet, I have been really enjoying hearing about the story behind the story.

Bravo to the whole Foundation production. It’s made an old fan very happy lol.

Brilliant Official podcast offering multiple levels of insight!

This is a wonderful podcast that does as advertised (bringing further depth and insight into the worlds of Foundation) in a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable manner. Having the show runner is a huge bonus and the revolving door of varied cast, crew, directors and writers give a brilliant behind the scenes understanding of not only how the show was made, but why some decisions were made and the passion for this project by all involved really comes through.
