This Foundations course is designed by Professor Richard Buckland and aims to equip you with a broad understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity concepts, issues, practice, and trends, as well as helping you start to develop a security engineering mindset - how cybersecurity professionals approach problems and view situations.

I’m currently studying an IBM Cybersecurity course on Coursera and found this to be a great resource. I really enjoy the wisdom of this podcast.

I binged it like Beckham!

My takeaways included...cyber security is 90% people, 10% technology and 1% magic. Think like an attacker. Ask questions. Be a rascal. Be curious. Read about cyber security. Be clever about passwords. Pick locks for fun. Learn from mistakes. Even YOU can be tricked, but don’t feel too bad about it if you are. And many many more!

Thanks so much Professor Buckland. You’ve left me wanting more.
