Series 3 Episode 3: Create Your World - Nathan Chisholm Game Changers

    • Education

The Game Changers podcast celebrates those true pioneers in education who are building schools for tomorrow. In the third episode of the third series of the Game Changers podcast, we talk with Nathan Chisholm. Nathan was appointed in 2018 to lead the development of the new Prahran High School in the diverse, vibrant and creative inner-city of Melbourne. From the outset, Nathan has sought to frame a vision of a contemporary, future-focused secondary school in which students are deeply connected to their school, their community and their capacity to make a positive impact in their world. It’s a school underpinned by a core commitment to four key values, framed as learning dispositions: creativity, curiosity, challenge and character. In this episode, he speaks on kindness in school, the necessity of failure in education, and the importance of having fun as educators.

The Game Changers podcast is produced by Oliver Cummins for Orbital Productions, supported by a School for tomorrow (aSchoolfortomorrow.com), and powered by CIRCLE by CIRCLE – The Centre for Innovation, Research, Creativity and Leadership in Education (www.circle.education).
