GLOBAL IMPACT, Economic Sustainability & returning to LOVE ~ Special Guest Alexandria Joy The Embodied Business Show

    • Self-Improvement

AJ is passionate about helping leaders build productive tribes and deeper connections through healthy relationships at work. She’s on a mission to help people grow personally and professionally so they can become the brave new leaders of the future, one that balance people, planet and purpose with profit.
A ten times published author with a degree in Communications, a Grad Dip and an MBA in Professional Communication, AJ believes in inherent power of humans to heal the world through their relationships and tribes at work.
Before founding several companies, AJ worked as Director for the government work health and safety regulator, WorkCover NSW. During her tenure, she changed the way WorkCover spoke to and built relationships with its stakeholders. She was responsible for changing the focus and perception of WorkCover brand as being the “enforcer” to focusing on the importance of working safely for the sake of going home to family and friends.
She believes it is impossible to make sustainable change in an organisation without a corresponding change in the leader's beliefs and behaviours. Through her engaging and unique interview style she brings other unique leaders philosophy and approach from all over the world to the airwaves through her podcast The Theatre of U. Each episode provides fascinating, real and genuine insights into human behaviour and leadership mastery.
When she’s not researching these types of relationships, AJ practises meditation, yoga, slow travel and other things that help her be a good human in how she serves in life.
AJ speaks regularly at conferences and in workplaces across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and the US on the power of making 10 degree shifts, purposeful leadership and the future of work. As a practicing servant leader, she is generous with her time – she is a founding board member of the Got Your Back Sista, the Founder and Chair of the Professional Communicators Network and the Co-Founder of Human Power.
