Going solo: steps to having a baby single Fertility Unfiltered

    • Sexuality

For far too long, reproductive health has been filled with taboos and stigmas, making it harder to take care of our own bodies. That’s why we’ve started the podcast series ‘Fertility Unfiltered’, in partnership with Genea– to help people learn more about reproductive health topics from health experts. We’re creating a safe space for conversations around fertility, ranging from the possibility of parenthood, seeking guidance on reproductive health and even the science behind conception. In our eighth episode, we speak to Genea specialist Dr Tween Low, who shares what to consider in a donor when going solo with assisted conception as well as the importance of a support network in the fertility process. We also hear lived experience from Lucie Weber, who found herself single at age 36 but wanting to become a mum. Weber shares why she took a leap of faith with IVF and how it paid off for her.
