Jessica Horne-Kennedy | What Does Being Intentional Look Like?
In the Early Years Learning Framework, intentional teaching is seen as being a way of working with children and families that is “… deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful”. However, what does this really look like and mean in practice? How can educators be thoughtful about what they do and why they do things? What are the core meanings of this word ‘thoughtful’ and how can these meanings be used in our work with children?
Join us as we unpack what being thoughtful and intentional means, how we can approach it and what it looks like in daily practice.

Suallyn Mitchelmore | Gowrie NSW Online Learning Communities 2020
Hear from Gowrie NSW's Online Learning Community Facilitator and PhD candidate (Early Childhood Education) Suallyn Mitchelmore, as she talks through her background in Early Childhood Education and brings to life what Gowrie NSW's Online Learning Communities mean for participants like yourself.
Online Learning Communities are a place to bring people together regardless of physical location for the purpose of networking, learning and sharing ideas; a sustained approach which highlights the benefit of learning from shared experiences.
Sometimes as educators and leaders we become isolated whether due to time constraints, physical location or any number of other reasons. Bringing people together in a virtual space overcomes the barrier of physical location by connecting people without the need to travel.
Join Suallyn and take the next step in your professional development journey via Gowrie NSW's Online Learning Communities: https://www.gowriensw.com.au/educationhub/online-learning-communities/
