    A student's development is significantly impacted by living in poverty/ being low income and affects the student's ability to thrive in school giving them unequal opportunities.
    Education, being one of the most vital gateways to success, is something that has been denied to many students. Whether it's due to the unequal funding of schools based on location or students' failure to recognize their full potential because of economic barriers, the education system has created a pathway that hinders the success of students from underfunded backgrounds.
