We were joined by Chloe of Girls Gone Canon & Drunk ASOIAF History to discuss a recurring theme of deception. Sansa, Young Griff, Cersei, Wyman Manderly, Varys and plenty more.

PS there's a bit of scratchiness in the audio on this one, our apologies.

Girl Ashby ,

The best people and the best podcast

The team at History of Westeros are truly some of the most genuine, decent people in the review and prediction game. They have so much knowledge that they share with humour, puns (Aziz is punny) and compassion. I’ve followed them for years and I still think of them during GoT episodes “I wonder what Aziz, Ashaya & Co will say about this”. Definitely recommend.

Awesome show for books anyway.

I love all the work they do around the books it’s wonderful and eye opening making the books even better. When it comes to he show they try to find insight and pretend to make the show sound good but with Weiss and benioff”s obsession with putting dongs in every seen it’s hard work to find meaning.

Love what these guys do

Aziz, Ashaya, and all their guests, provide interesting, thorough, insightful commentary on the history of all things asoiaf. These guys get me through my dullest hours at work, the time I spend cooking, exercising, and driving. They’ve opened GRRM’s world beyond reading the books and watching the shows, to something almost tangible and endlessly fascinating. I’m an archaeology/history major, which makes the historical context so awesome to listen to! They update weekly, a godsend to people like me who can’t live without asoiaf content, and their episodes are always thoroughly researched, their presentation honest and open. Can’t recommend them enough. Keep doing what you’re doing guys, you’re the best (I mean, Ashaya’s the BEST 😂)!
