It’s all down hill from here!
I’ve been listening to Hook, Line & Smiley from the first episode, and have been a fan of Bob for many years. It has been a privilege to hear about the life behind the stage persona of Bob (not that he’s any different off stage) and the struggles he and Sarah face together as a blended family. But with episode 43, I feel this podcast has reached its pinnacle with an interview with the Christian comedy queen, Chonda Pierce. Chonda has always been so open and honest about her life struggles and sharing how her faith has brought her through time and time again. In this episode I’ve heard another side of Chonda’s story which brought a range of emotions listening to her share how she lets Jesus shine on the stage. I honestly don’t know how Bob and Sarah are going to top this episode.
The Smiley's make me Smile
I love listening to Bob and Sarah, I feel like they have invited me into their home and I get to share a little part of their lives. Bob's comedic interruptions and the way Sarah "deals" with them always makes me smile. My woo of the week is listening to them.
