Hunting out West with Whitney Tramel The Onset Podcast

 Elizabeth is joined by her friend and fellow hunter Whitney Tramel, who is experiencing her first hunting season out west in Colorado. She recently moved there from Texas and is putting her bowhunting skills to the ultimate test as she navigates new terrain, new game, and new styles of hunting. The western rookie shares her experiences on what it’s like to backcountry camp and the gear she’s had to accumulate as well as hunting with friends and packing out big game. The girls discuss gear in general and the differences between hunting in places like Texas, Colorado, and Virginia, where they got to meet last spring and search for antlers on a WMA and fish the shad run in Fredericksburg.
