We feel your pain...

Guys, firstly thank you. The podcast is easy listening and always fun to hear another affiliate owner and coach discuss common issues within affiliates with humour and just the right amount of seriousness.

I am an affiliate owner of over ten years and maybe insanely recently purchased a second. I met Chris, Matt and Eric when they came out to Australia to run a competitors course way back at my affiliate CrossFit CrossAxed.

I just wanted to say we feel your pain, you guys sound tired, as am I. For the first time in history have businesses been forced to close for something totally outside their control and after 3 months of closure the CEO of our company recklessly conducts himself like a two year old that can type. That same CEO was also responsible for all of our livelihoods and for many are the reason we have the lifestyle we have so while no one agrees with his idiotic behaviour we still owe a big portion of who we are to what he has done, as do some of the loudest athletes and media people on social media etc

To say it’s been a tough time is an understatement. Everyone has an opinion and not only that everyone else seems to want an opinion and most of us are just waiting to see what is actually happening as the landscape is changing on the daily.

Anyway, just thought I’d say your podcast is valued and whether or not you choose to continue remember your athletes and members need inspiration and positivity, exactly what you often provide on your podcast.

Chin up blokes, thanks for being rad lads and I hope to keep hearing you over the web. Also maybe think about not committing to a timeframe, do one when it suits and let it be a nice little surprise when the iTunes app updates with a new episode.

G’day mates!
Firstly, thank you for all the wisdom shared in these podcasts. Secondly and more importantly, thanks for all the pet peeves... I identify with way too many of them.

Do all Americans think that Aussie/South African/British people sound the same or is it just Doug?

I’ve been doing CrossFit for just over a year now, after basically neglecting fitness for the previous 23 years of my existence.
My coach recommended the podcast after we started running the icon programming at our gym. I’ve found the tips mixed in with humour to be great for helping me to progress on this journey.

Would be great if you could share some tips on how to improve mobility, specifically for snatches/OH Squat as this seems to be my biggest struggle (of many).
Also, you speak a lot about diet being critical, what are your thoughts on cheat days/weekends?

Hey guys love the pod!
Started listening when I was doing research on rhabdo. Started with the rhabdo episode a week ago. I have listened to every episode already while I’ve been recovering. I consumed rhabdo in a can at a local comp my box hosted (shout out to CrossFit CrossAxed in Brisbane!!). I’m not looking forward to the open because I’ve had 2 whole weeks off(having an existential crisis). I always give the open my all but am scared of injuring myself again so soon. Thanks Chris and Doug keep up the awesome work
