    Washing Machine

    Washing Machine

From the earliest times, people have needed to find ways of cleaning their clothes. Before washing machines, laundry was done by hand. It was backbreaking work that would usually take a whole day every week and often required multiple members of the household to assist.
There are some who argue that by reducing the amount of time required to be spent on laundry, washing machines were one of the key creations that enabled women to enter the workforce in large numbers in the 20th Century.
While washing machines have revolutionised the way in which we do laundry, they have also had some serious environmental impacts.
How will you reduce the current impacts that washing machines have on the environment?

Great for kids!!

I test listen with my son on back seat and he laughed about the toilet noises. So two thumbs up for the ladies on what is a stellar start !

Pretend it’s for the kids, enjoy it for yourself

There’s very few things made for kids that are crossover hits for adults. Spongebob, Shrek... that’s about it. This is one of those. Delightfully narrated and produced with vivid sound design and effects, this show grabs your attention. It doesn’t talk down to kids but engages them in history, invention, innovation and sustainability. It honestly does a better job than most teachers, and most classes, and within twenty minutes. Highly recommended for car trips or to play while having a game night.
