It's Our First Episode with Catherine Pelosi

Episode 1 features an interview with a first-time author, Catherine Pelosi, to tie in with our 'firsts' theme. Find out the inspiration behind her debut middle grade novel Quark's Academy, that's just been published with Hachette Australia.

We also introduce our new segments, including 'Whatcha Reading' where we discuss our latest reads, and chat industry news and recommendations in our fortnightly 'Shout out' as well as in 'What's on our Radar'. Our kids' segment, 'Kids Capers', features kids from Waitara Public School in Sydney and their wonderful teacher-librarian, Mrs Bradley, discussing the hilarious picture book I Just Ate My Friend by Heidi McKinnon.
