    • Personal Journals

SHOW NOTES

In recent years the Latino community has been given more representation than before.

One of the figures that have showcased part of our community, specifically the Cubanos in Miami, is actor, writer, comedian, and content creator Jenny Lorenzo.

In today’s episode of Ellas, Jenny talks with me about how her childhood in Miami has shaped her comedy and videos.

She also opens up about the bumps she encountered during her time in Buzzfeed, the highlights and lessons learned when she co-founded PeroLike and how she had to constantly prove herself as a video producer.

Jenny shares the reason why she was fired from Buzzfeed, the family tragedy that occurred during that time and working at We are Mitú.

She also goes in-depth on what motivated her to be a freelance content creator and shows she identified with during her childhood. Jenny also chats about her character Lupe in Cartoon Network’s Victor and Valentino!

If you want to know what it takes to be a voice actor and finding the right team to collaborate with then listen to this episode!
