A bunch of stuff I write on a weekly, or even daily basis. Check back often for some new music!
An update from last night. A rough "finished version" of the opener of the Apparatus show I've begun to work on. Look for more in the future.
With inspiration from Cavaliers' 2006 show and part of Norris' fall show, this is what came from it. There's some obvious restructuring that needs to happen with some of the parts instead of just building up with the percussion and unloading the fury of the machine right away. In my theory class a while ago we had to write a piece using the same kind of technique Chopin did in his "Prelude in E minor." I received a 97% on the assignment but decided to continue on with the piece.
Never Ending Blue
Started this Friday night. May add more, not sure yet.
My freshman and junior years of high school, our winter line performed arrangements made by our instructor at the time to 2 songs by Tool. I liked the group and recently was listening to their song "Eulogy." So decided to try my hand at arranging and adapting (most if not all of everything I write is original). So this is it. All the battery parts are original. Front ensemble parts, in some form or another are related back to the song.
