Every year we go to LASHCON, we run into people who share how our event has changed their lives. They met their lash bestie; they met a lash brand that wants to hire them; they got inspired to make a huge change in their life...and the stories go on an on.
LASHCON can be quite emotional for us as we hear these amazing stories where people's lash careers are changed for the better.
In today's episode, we have Victoria Zaborowski (AKA Vicky Z!) come on to share her lash journey after she left LASHCON last November. Her life today is 100% different than it was a year ago, and a lot of it is due to some new friends she made at LASHCON.

323. Sam Walters Gives Insights on Working in A Remote Location & How Her Life Was Changed by 9/11
In today's episode, we are excited to have Sam Waters, Lashie Award winner, talk about her lash journey. She shares about the challenges she has faced being in a province in Canada where they are regulated as well as the difficulties in finding supplies and tools in her province.
We also talk about her attempts to mentor lash artists in her community and how some push back when she offers to help.
On top of this Sam talks about 911 and how the town of Gander, Newfoundland is the only 2nd city in the world with a 9/11 memorial. When 9/11 happened, 37 planes landed in this small town and the city doubled in size in 24 hours. There is a Broadway musical called "Come From Away" that tells this amazing story of a small town rising up to the challenge of caring for strangers they have never met. Sam shares how this event changed her and how she lives her life.
At the end, Tussanee shares some insights on how Hypochlorous Acid is a must you should have in your salon.
