Love yourself healthy is a podcast that aims to positively influence listeners when it comes to the topic of eating disorders, body image, self love and acceptance of ones self. We will also be discussing a range of different health issues such as binge eating disorder, bulimia, overeating and weight loss. Tackling them from a completely different perspective - mind, body, psychology. Throughout the podcasting journey you will also get to know 'real life' stories from people who have had struggles around the above topics and have positively come out the other side. They will share their struggles and what they did to overcome these. I want this platform to be used as a way to become more educated and open minded about the importance of taking care of and nurturing yourself from within. Love, love, LOVE ❤️
I’ve only just found this podcast and I’m OBSESSED!!!! I cant as my stop listening and recommending it to friends.
Hi Mel, thank you for your podcast. I have recently suffered a miscarriage and as soon as this happened (apart from grief) I reverted to self loathing which I was accustomed to doing before I was distracted by my pregnancy. I wanted so much to change my health and recognise my self-worth. Your topics touch on many things I’m interested in (such as gut health and self love) and I really appreciate the step by step practical suggestions you provide. I’m grateful to have found your podcast! Since listening I’ve begun implementing more movement and focusing on nutrition and replacing those negative self-destructive thoughts. The next habit to implement is daily meditation. I love your desire to help people and I’ve already recommended your podcast to those I love.
Insightful and genuine
I stumbled onto this podcast and have binge listened to almost every episode and I’m so glad that I have. I’ve never liked myself let alone loved myself but I not only need to I want to love myself enough to take care of my body and health as I’m a diabetic. Mel is helping me understand why I binge, how to see and understand the signs before and how to deal with the emotions before, during and after. I’m Learning to implement self care and self love practices into my everyday life and to create a healthy relationship with food without punishing myself when I slip up. Thank you so much Mel you are truly inspiring and are helping not only me but many people cultivate a loving and healthy life.
