Customer Reviews
Thoughtful, respectful commentary
I stumbled across the podcast about a year ago and have been a continuous listener ever since. For me it fulfils a need for some lighthearted but thoughtful commentary on a wide range of topics that I’m mostly interested in. I also love that the hosts have individual views which often differ and those views are responded to with interest and there is no need to form a consensus or determine who is right. I listen to lots of podcasts but this is my go to favourite.
I don’t miss an episode
I love this podcast. It has prompted me to think just that little bit harder and more critically. Also I LOVE how I think I have a firm opinion on something and then Jessie, Mia or Holly will make me change my mind… I love when this happens!! XXXX
My number one podcast
I can’t believe some of the negative reviews for this podcast. I’ve been listening since the start. This podcast tops up my news content with the pop culture news that I don’t get l from listening to abc radio news during the day. I don’t watch tv news. Between this and ‘the project’ I feel I’m keeping up with pop culture, so that I understand references made by younger work colleagues or my 20something children. I’ve also gotten some great recommendations for other podcasts, books and tv and even a few products. By now I could have a pretty good guess about what the three hosts will say about particular topics but that doesn’t make hearing their actual opinions any less interesting.
