Don’t speak from your bubble but from a place that others can understand.   When others are outside the bubble they will not be able to connect and engage.  This is not effective for communication.     Be aware of bubble language and styles that excludes others from connecting.  Listen to how you can change this and be more inclusive for others who are outside your organisation or group.

What does authenticity mean in communication and how do I use it.

When we speak we must not make others responsible for our emotions.  Therefore we don’t speak to others with a voice tone and body language that sounds and looks aggressive or insensitive to others.  We don’t shame, blame or make others wrong when communicating, we only point out the behaviour that is causing an issue and then,  with a non accusing voice, non violent voice tone we make our needs known, by expressing the behaviour,  sharing the feelings we experience, the need we have and because it is necessarily and then make a request.  All the time the voice tone, body language and gestures need to be helpful and not violent.  In this recording you will hear me explain how to be mindful of this communication.

Are you thinking about the needs of your listeners and connect with that.   What you say is depending on where you are coming from is it about yourself and your outcome or is it a benefit for others.   When we speak,  we must help others feel that we have considered them in the discussion and considered their needs.  Are we coming into the middle or manipulating others to loose what they are needing.  We need to consider others when speaking and bring them into the communication by acknowledging what is needed for both in the conversation.
