Episode 5 - Pilates And Exercise Physiology For Postpartum

Originally from Canada, Stacey completed a BSc in Human Movement at the University of Alberta and travelled to Perth, WA for her practical placement in 2007. She became an AEP in early 2008, working mainly in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and gaining experience with some of Perth’s best Orthopaedic surgeons and AEPs doing pre and post surgery exercise programs.

Honest and real

I love the honesty and acknowledgement of the reality of so many different situations. The pregnant Dad was awesome and great to give space to the transgender community. Love the inclusion and support found here.

So helpful as I start my new career

Loving working my way through Julia’s podcasts. I’m about to start her doula training and start my new career as a post partum doula. The interviews with other doulas are of particular value as it is highlighting the many ways this work can be done
