The DDPFP

While I love the Dave Dameshek Pittsburgh Football Program. I am convinced that Dave Dameshek is a robot AI more advanced that Siri and Alexa.

Phrases like curmudgeon, Mt Pious, Shekey awards, guessing salad weights, Talking about Antonio Brown Lev Bell or other Pittsburgh Players as if they had the ‘18 season in the bag. Inability to imitate a British accent. All point to the fact that Dave is an algorithm built to repeat the same phrases and Pittsburgh related stories the same way Facebook has algorithms to spam you with ads.

And while it’s like having a friend that you love seeing but you always disagree with or they have the same stories. It’s a great addition to the NFL podcasts behind ATN and Move the Sticks.

Just beats the drum for Steelers

I enjoy most of the podcasts put out by NFL but I’m completely over this one. Only goes on and on about Steelers, even if they aren’t in finals, it’s all Steelers talk. There is 31 other teams Dave. I gave it 12 months but can’t do it anymore

Enough of the Steelers talk!

I’ve been listening to the DDFP for a while now and I’m about done. Shek’s ‘bits’ and endless Steelers drivel are so nauseating that I can hardly bear to listen to the show anymore. Emma VP leaving was the nail in the coffin for me. Handsome Hank and Eddy Spaghetti are great but I’ll just have to hope they make an appearance on the ATN podcast.

All good things come to end!
