Former Labour Party advisor and co-author of Punch & Judy Politics, Tom Hamilton, joins the panel to discuss all of that. Just wanted to let you know that two of our Prime Ministers were unseated at an election.
The first was Stanley Melbourne Bruce and the second ,the glorious unseating of John Howard. This is in response to one of your commentator’s remark that she didn’t know if any Prime Ministers had ever been unseated.
I’m surprised that none of you knew of John Howard’s seat loss as this is relatively recent history.

Horror of boxing
Fabulous and wide-ranging intelligent discussion - great podcast. I was horrified, however, to hear your gloating discussion of boxing. This is surely an abhorrent and retrograde relic masquerading as 'sport'. An activity which lauds the deliberate damage inflicted on an opponent, so frequently resulting in brain damage, ought to be outlawed in 2023.
