    On retreating and re-emerging

In this episode, host Madeleine Dore asks: how can we better understand the ebbs and flows we experience in our social lives?

There are times we might feel open to connections and new friendships, and other times where we feel more closed or our social battery runs low.

Taking lessons from lobsters and seasons, to a year of living as an extrovert, this episode explores how we can honour both sides in ourselves and be there for others.

Great helpful insights, with a beautiful calming voice!

Enjoy listening to the conversation Madeleine is having with different people and they’re quite interesting and insightful which has made me rethink the way I approach maintaining and creating friendships and relationships in general.

The podcast I didn’t know I needed

Feeling a little wobbly socially after some major life changes and covid, this podcast has helped me feel excited about broadening my social horizons. It has practical tips, great insights, and is delivered artfully. I have been so engaged the whole way through. It’s also alleviated a lot of my anxiety re venturing into new social situations and is helping me become more confident. More than that, it’s just a great entertaining listen. Highly recommended.

A social life with friends - what every friend needs to hear

I have been listening to Madeline’s podcasts for the last 5 years. I find each podcast episode refreshing with creative flair and thoughtful composition. With quotes and anecdotes from other writers to support her ideas - I find them very entertaining and reflective. While some previous episodes and seasons may have gone for a tad too long, the more recent episodes are quiet punchy and well timed.
