It's like hanging out with your friends
Fantastic podcast. A group of friends sitting down to play D&D. They're having fun and they're entertaining. Great music, interesting characters, and a compelling story. CHECK IT OUT!
Not your typical dnd podcast!
Once you get past the first episode it gets REALLY funny and interesting. The world is set in the present day, and the characters utilise guns, cars, and smartphones. A lot of NPCs and locations are made up on the spot, by both the game master and the players. Each player has a very distinct voice so it’s pretty much impossible to not be able to tell who is speaking, unlike some other dungeons n dragons podcasts out there. The audio quality is a little iffy in the first episode but gets better by the third episode. Overall a top notch podcast!
The Pod God Approves
Title says it all. I, The Pod God, approve of this podcast.
It is refreshingly honest in its presentation. When the cast go off track, they let you see it. When the cast is confused, you get that too.
It’s funny. It’s chill. It’s well recorded (they get better over the first three episodes). I also love the music! Sets the theme perfectly. I only ask that the DM describe MORE IRRELEVANT NONSENSE. I laugh so hard when they go into detail on stuff that is inconsequential. It fills the world so well.
