In her almost 20 years in the music and entertainment industry, Samantha Ronson has been traveling the world and redefining cool. Cutting her teeth in bars and clubs in New York, she eventually became one of the world’s most recognizable DJs and go-to DJ for a wide range of celebrity and corporate clients. In addition to her talent in the booth, she’s an accomplished singer-songwriter with both solo work and with her band, Ocean Park Standoff.
In this interview, Samantha talks about the importance of using her platform to speak on social issues, DJing to non-club crowds, and dives into some nerdy vintage synthesizer and keyboard discussion.

Dripping with charisma and Southern charm, Wally Sparks is THE most electrifying man in audio entertainment. The Chattanooga, Tennessee native is a veteran DJ with over 20 years of experience in radio, global festivals, on tour(with Big K.R.I.T.), and party rocking (most notably with Atlanta’s “The Groove ATL”). Behind the boards, Wally Sparks was a staple of hip hop’s “Blog Era” with mixtapes and compilations featuring everyone from Southern legends UGK to Talib Kweli.
In this interview, Wally talks about how he made the switch from dancing at parties to becoming the DJ, Southern roller skating culture and how he’s adjusted through Covid and DJing on Twitch.

He’s a founding member of the Los Angeles nightclub/promotions behemoth Legend Entertainment and a founding member of the World Famous Beat Junkies. As an on-air radio DJ, he’s held residencies at iconic stations 92.3 The Beat. Power 106. 93.5 KDAY. and KPFK. All of this is just scratching the surface of his career accolades and accomplishments.

He’s rocked parties in countries all over the world (Nigeria, Ghana, Jordan and France to name a few), been the official stage DJ for festivals such as Rock The Bells, Paid Dues and The Roots Picnic, and has even had cameo appearances in several Hollywood productions. His mixes and viral DJ videos have probably already graced your timeline. But above all his accomplishments, his nearly encyclopedic knowledge of music sets him apart from most.

Jayemkayem is a woman of many talents. Originally from Calgary, her DJ credentials including sets in numerous global cities, holding residencies at Toronto hotspots Apt200 and the Drake Underground and festival appearances at Piknic Electronik and Canadian Music Week. She runs the record label Blue Selection (alongside Freeza Chin) and is the cofounder of the community radio station and music discovery platform ISO.

Opening Set S04E03: Lani Love
Lani Love is a veteran DJ who has held residencies all over the US including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. In addition to holding down sets at influential hotspots like Soho House and Virgin Hotel, she’s 1/3 of Club Mesh (alongside Chess Knight and Dial Jess) and was voted Chicago’s Best DJ three years in a row. Since the nightlife shutdown, she’s been able to successfully pivot to DJ streaming, building one of the strongest communities on Twitch and becoming a Twitch Partner.
