    Rachel Zaslansky Sheer is co-owner and co-founder of The Grapevine Agency established in 2005. Prior to becoming a recruiter, Rachel was an Executive Assistant to Kevin Huvane, Managing Partner of Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Rachel graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Psychology and a concentration in Women’s Studies. Originally from Chappaqua, NY, Rachel relocated to Los Angeles in 1998.     Julie is a licensed psychotherapist working with infants, children and adults, exploring attachment, mindfulness and empathic communication. Her background is in infant mental health and child psychology, with a specialization in baby and child sleep issues. She created the content and curriculum for the Wright Parent & Me classes in Los Angeles. Julie trained at Cedars Sinai Early Childhood Center and co-founded a program for parents and babies from 0-3 at LA Child Guidance Clinic. She believes development is optimized and relationships thrive when there is an emotional connection. Her background also includes the “school of life,” as the mother of an adult son. Julie co-authored two books, The Happy Sleeper; A Science-Backed Guide to Helping Your Baby Get a Good Night’s Sleep – Newborn to School Age and Now Say This: The Right Words to Solve Every Parenting Dilemma Penguin Random House.

    Melanie Soloway is Summit Center’s Parent Educator and the Founder and Director of Raising Enlightened Children. Melanie is the mother of three teenage boys, two of whom are twice exceptional/2e. She has been trained and is certified in numerous parenting programs including Positive Discipline, Redirecting Children’s Behavior, Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) and Reflective Parenting. Melanie says, “Gaining greater understanding and knowledge about who our children are ignites the sparks of our childrens’ potential. Learning positive parenting tools, and how to apply them, creates loving relationships for life.” Previously, Melanie was a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles County and the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Empowered Parenting.

    Nathalie Aluisi, M.A., OTR/L, SWC is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 18 years of experience.  She specializes in the areas of sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, social/emotional regulation, executive functioning, social thinking, developmental delays, premature birth, social skills, fine motor/visual motor difficulties, and feeding/oral motor skills.  She has advanced training in Sensory Integration theory and practice, and is certified to administer the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test.   She has completed courses through AOMT and is an orofacial myofunctional therapist.  She has her advanced practice certification in Swallowing Assessment and Intervention (SWC).  Mrs. Aluisi is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.  She is certified in the Interactive Metronome and is trained in the Therapeutic Listening Program and iLs Integrative Listening System.  She completed the U.S. Department of Education traineeship for the USC School-based Occupational Therapy Training Project.  She has served on the advisory board for this School-Based Training Grant.  Mrs. Aluisi worked in various school settings running sensory-motor groups incorporating yoga, consulted with teachers and parents and provided individualized treatments, while working closely with professionals using Floor Time (DIR Model).  She has been in private practice in West LA, providing clinic based intervention, home and school based services, and consultation.  She is currently on the advisory board for the development of an Early Childhood Center.  She presents at schools and parent groups on topics relating to sensory integration and children’s motor skill development.  Nathalie works closely with parents, teachers, pediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, physical therapist, and other professionals assisting children.  Nathalie received a B.A. in Kinesiology and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California.  She lives in West LA with her husband and three sons.
