Nostalgic Awesomeness
What a great movie! Love the whole cast! One of Mez and Lex’s more overlooked performances but they are perfect in their roles. When people think fondly of John Hughes it’s movies like the peaked in high school they are thinking of. It captures everything good about being a teenager in the 80s. What makes this movie 80s? The hair, the clothes, the cars, the neon signs and the soundtrack. Seriously does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe? If you love 80s movies this one is for you! This movie is hilarious! It’s often set in the northern beaches and I don’t want to give away too many spoilers but some guy called Carlos may or may not make an appearance.
Seriously great podcast! Love seeing what the next episode is and finding the movie to watch it before I listen. You guys are fantastic!!
My rating is 10/10
