Picnic Climbers is a podcast for people who love outdoor adventures but don't take themselves too seriously. You know, the ones at the crag who are spending more time eating and laughing than actually climbing, or the ones who lug a full box of wine to the summit because who says hiking can't be glamourous. We (Nate and Mo) love to hike, climb, run, camp, educate and explore but more importantly, we love to talk.     Join Nate and Mo this week as they share all about their first time camping with their baby! They took their seven-month-old son to Cornwall to camp by a river for 4 nights and got up to all sorts of adventures while they were there. They share their pre-trip concerns, preparations, and strategies for all the basics including sleeping, eating, and daytime activities. They discuss what went well and what they would do differently next time. While definitely more challenging than camping as a couple, it was a successful trip overall.

Nate talks about running 4 self-supported ultras in 4 months and how he stepped his training up from 20 miles a week to 60 miles a week in preparation for his final effort, the 84mile/135km Hadrian's Wall National Trust Path, from one side of England to the other in support of Parkinson's UK.
