Sonya Corcoran is a coder, UX Designer and tech nerd. She takes the ideas in the heads of people and puts them on computers that are working together. "I do this so everyone can learn from one another and make the world a better place" As an Educational Designer at University of Sydney, she’s developed a number of strategies to engage with time poor stakeholders and gain their buy in to the design process. We also discuss how universities can improve their Student Experience, especially in terms of International Students.

Donna is a design leader and product all rounder close to 20 years experience. She’s worked in many industries, including government, telecommunications, insurance, retail, not-for-profit, higher education and many more. She’s written three books: on information architecture, card sorting and writing for the web. When we caught up with her in Melbourne, we chatted about the collection of data sets, how data can be misused and what the impacts are for machine learning and coming of AI systems.
