She has worked in Iraq, Jordan, and Bahrain and currently works for the Department of the Navy. Sulakshana authored the chapter ‘The Future is Amphibious: The Role of Naval Special Warfare in Great Power Competition’ in On Contested Shores: The Evolving Role of Amphibious Operations in the History of Warfare.
