    SERIES 5 - Episode 8 - Tara Reade (20.05.2020)

Gareth and Olly look into the sexual assaults allegations leveled at presumptive Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President, Joe Biden by former junior aide, Tara Reade.

What they find is a deeply frustrating topic, full of contradictory information, changing stories, political bias and a man who doesn't understand why touching women without consent should not happen.

Gareth and Olly look into the death that wasn't of Nth Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Why did the press think he was dead? Where was he? And what does it have to do with bullet proof trains?

In Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orban has used the Covid-19 pandemic as cover to make a move for the one thing he has desired for a long time - ultimate control. How has Orban been able to do this, and what does it mean for the many minority groups in his country?

PoC SHOUT OUT - Vox Worldy & Coast to Coast AM - Pentagon confirm UFOs (04.05.2020)

For this SHOUT OUT episode, we decided to take a slightly different approach, giving you audio from two shows and a debate from 1953.

In the introduction, Gareth mentions that he thinks the Pentagon videos surfaced around 2019. They actually surfaced in 2017 and 2018.

    From Vox
    https://www.vox.com/pages/podcasts

The Worldly team takes a break from the coronavirus doom and gloom to talk about some other big news: the Pentagon’s confirmation this week that it has, in fact, filmed at least three instances of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). They break down the footage, debate what the videos might actually show, talk about the Cold War history of US government investigations into UFOs, and explore how UFOs play into international relations and deeper concepts about religion and humanity. There’s also a surprise guest appearance at the very end! Oh, and LOTS of X-Files jokes.

From Coast to Coast AM with George Noorey
    http://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/pentagon-officially-releases-trio-of-historical-ufo-videos/

The Department of Defense has officially released the three videos of unidentified flying objects which have captivated the UFO research community and generated considerable media attention for the last two years. The tantalizing clips, which include the now-iconic 'Tic Tac video' (shown above), largely first came to light back in December of 2017 and March of 2018 by way of the landmark New York Times times piece on the Pentagon's secret UFO program and Tom DeLonge's To the Stars Academy. Since that time, something of a saga surrounding the videos has unfolded.

    SERIES 5 - Episode 7 - Covid-USA (28.04.2020)

    SERIES 5 - Episode 7 - Covid-USA (28.04.2020)

In this episode we look at the anti-lockdown protests that have swept across the United States throughout April. Why are people risking their health to take to the streets? Who are the people and groups organising these protests and what are their motivations? There is more happening here than meets the eye.

In Australia, we discuss the potential collapse of Virgin Australia which once went toe-to-toe with Qantas. If Virgin goes under it very well might be a bigger collapse than that of Ansett.

Also in Australia, a very good suggestion was made by Prime Minister Scott Morrison to give WHO experts the same powers as UN weapon inspectors. A great idea that will be difficult, if not impossible, to turn into a reality.

Also in this episode, a stupidest political news item will be hard to beat in 2020. And yes, it is only April.

PoC: Around The World - 21.04.2020 (World Health Organisation)

Gareth and Olly deep dive into the World Health Organisation, which finds itself in hot water once again.

US President Donald Trump has suspended his countries contributions to the WHO, whilst others are calling for its complete shutdown. But, is this current round or criticism justified? Would reform be a better way to go? And who exactly is Donald Trump to criticise someone elses response to Covid-19?

Also in this podcast, the history of the WHO, how it is financed, misunderstandings of its powers and authority, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, scandals and corruption within the organisation, it's dealings with China and Taiwan as well as the US.

Love listening to this podcast. I enjoy politics and find Gareth & Olly tend to fill me in with the finer details. I only wish it was a weekly instead of fortnightly wait. Well done! 5 stars from me...
