A journey into the exploration of life.

Come with me, Connor Warman, as I take a headfirst dive into the world of CrossFit, Writing, Business, Endurance, and Adventure. I'm a CrossFit Coach, Writer, Entrepreneur, and overall Adventure-Enthusiast who has a knack for storytelling and exploring life experiences.

I look at life as an ongoing project. One that I am continually working on in order to push my own personal limits and expose you to what is possible. Oftentimes in life, we find ourselves falling short and doing only what we need to do to get by. This show is all about talking to people who embrace struggle and strive every single day to find a better version of themself. It's about living life at full speed and leaving no room for regret. Life is short and there is simply no time to lose.

#182: David Portillo on Getting Uncomfortable, Having Fun Doing It, and Not Taking Yourself Too Seriously

On Episode 182 I sit down with David Portillo. Portillo is my friend that I met last summer at a Diesel Day Event at Tosh's ranch and someone I've had the pleasure of getting to know better since then. This guy loves to do hard shit but always manages to do it with a smile on his face. He's someone I look up to in that regard and we dive into that in more depth throughout this episode.

Portillo is from the LA area and now lives in Texas. He joined the Marine Corps. in 2002 where he did 3 deployments. He got out in 2006 before being recalled for a 4th tour in Afghanistan in 2008.

Portillo is now a medical technician. He enjoys working out, cold beer, and spending time with family. I think it's now clear why he and I have become good friends.

As always, I hope that you enjoy this episode!

On Episode 181 I am joined by James Hobart. James is a CrossFit L-4 Trainer who has been on the CrossFit Seminar Staff for 11 years. He is also a CrossFit Games Champion, and honestly, his list of accomplishments and successes could go on and on for days.

But, on this episode, we dive into more of the personal side of who James is. We talk about his law school experience, what he likes about traveling around doing seminars for CrossFit, how much he enjoys teaching, helping others, and meeting new people, some endurance events that he's taken on, and what he's learned from those experiences. We also dive into leadership, what kind of legacy he wants to leave behind, and the dangers of asking yourself what's the point?

As always, I truly hope that you enjoy this conversation as much as I did! Enjoy!!

#180: Beth Tannatt on Being an Adaptive Athlete at the CrossFit Games, Overcoming an Eating Disorder, and Taking Up More Space Not Less

On Episode 180 I bring Beth Tannatt onto the show. Beth is a physical therapist of 16 years, a mother of two, and an adaptive CrossFit Games Athlete. Beth was in a near-fatal car accident when she was 20, getting hit by a tractor-trailer on a two-lane highway in upstate NY on a beautiful sunny summer day.

Beth struggled on and off with an eating disorder for most of her life and it wasn’t until she found the sport of CrossFit that she decided that she wanted to take up more space, not less. She began to appreciate what the female body could do, rather than what it looked like. And four years later, she was a part of the first Adaptive Athlete division in CrossFit Games history.

This bio and introduction don't even begin to give this incredible story justice. Listen in to hear the rest of Beth's incredible story! And as always, I hope that you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!
