    Horror & Thriller TV Movies

To kick off October, Elric and Brian decided it would be fun to explore the vast world of Made-For-TV movies and to keep things spooky, the focus was on Horror and Thriller TV Movies specifically.

    Horror Sampler

    Horror Sampler

It's Spooky September! Sure it's not October yet, but For this episode - Elric and Brian are taking the idea that they've used in the past for Exploitation and transferring it to a "Horror Sampler" idea. In this case the categories covered include a film pick each in the categories of Slasher, Supernatural, Creature Feature, Foreign Language Horror and of course a Wild Card Spot. Hopefully this serves as a nice primer for your Horror movie viewing options as you ramp up to the Halloween season!

Hangout Episode - "New To Me" (Patreon Bonus)

Hangout Episode - "New To Me" (Patreon Bonus)

For this very special episode, we are doing something we almost never do - which is release a Patreon Exclusive episode into our main feed so all the listeners can have a chance to hear what it is we do in terms of the bonus content over on our Patreon. This is one of our Monthly "Hangout Episodes" where we discuss what we've been watching, offer Blu-ray, streaming and film book picks and also have some kind of main topic as well. This Hangout episode is one we actually thought about as a regular episode at one point and it has to do with each of us catching up with some films that have been recommended on the show in the past that we've meant to watch but hadn't gotten around to until now. This episode was a lot of fun to research and record and we hope you enjoy. Big big thanks to our Patreon supporters who made this possible! If you like what you hear and want to support the show, you can go to: https://www.patreon.com/purecinemapod
    Enjoy!

Like hanging with (enormously knowledgeable) pals

This is like a big hug of a show, every episode’s easy pace and loose chat feeling like a night (or, more often in my case, a car ride) spent spitballing about obscure and not-so-obscure cult movies with two hugely affable and knowledgeable friends. An easy listen, lots of fun ‘Top 5 Films Because...’ lists and categories for film nerds to play along with, and you’ll definitely finish each episode with new titles to add to your watch lists!

Great insights but...

They obviously know a lot about films and I enjoy listening to them, but I’m sick of them sucking off Tarantino. He is a terrible person and them acting like he is some god I found troubling

claw tapper ,

for the off-beat movie fanatics

These guys talk about so many forgotten films you've probably never heard of. An absolute must for anyone seriously interested in cult films.
