Retired nurses returning to work

Hi Eva
I’m a retired registered nurse who has been recalled by APHRA re returning to work for the limited covid vaccination register
I have worked at a vaccination clinic for over eight months now
And find so much enjoyment in this position
Having recently lost my husband to cancer this opportunity has turned my life around and is a very necessary and important position
Of course as returned retirees we all work hard ,and although limited in our scope of practice can still study through the ANF and hopefully look forward to returning to full practice
I welcome encouragement by the government ,the health system and all other employees who are willing to employ us and give us back our right to work ,our dignity and our chance to use our former skills and experiences to the betterment of mankind
I wrote this poem while vaccinating

Eyes that smile behind a mask
Put you cheerfully to the task
Eyes that show fear or hate
Make you want to reiterate
It’s not about just YOU
It’s US for ALL
Gods creatures great and small
Let’s live this life with love and cheer
For we have each other
So dont let fear
Interfere
God bless us everyone
