Redefining Grief - An essential guide for women who are grieving Synergy Women

    • Health & Fitness

Are you or a loved one currently navigating grief?  Do you feel like you have a big hole in your heart that no one else can see and you're simply wondering how long this is going to last?

Like an art form and a journey without a map, there seems to be no clear way to navigate the stormy waters of grief.

It can feel lonely, it can feel tiring, it can feel like no one on this earth understands. It can feel like you’re struggling to keep your head above water, that you can’t hold up for much longer, that there’s no safe land in sight for miles with just an endless horizon of emptiness.

Life jacket anyone?

Whatever grief you are navigating, this podcast is a message of hope to YOU

Join Niky Hamilton Women's Resilience Coach on a journey to understand the grief journey. Niky shares a story from her own heart, a journey after the loss of her son Baxter.

In this podcast you will learn:

Why the current five phases of grief don't resonate with anyone who is trying to navigate it
Let's simplify- what the three real phases of grief are and what they feel like
Key steps you can implement at each stage to help buoy you through
Two questions to ask yourself to find a glimmer of hope
Essential steps to take during each phase from a woman who has walked your path

Niky Hamilton is a physiotherapist, a mindfulness meditation teacher and Demartini facilitator who lost her son Baxter at birth. It is her heartfelt passion to help women navigate life's challenges and grief. Her journey has combined teachings from all over the world, that she now shares on her Women's Rise UP retreats and with her online program for women called the Rise UP Method, designed to help women build resilience through challenging times.

Grief can also be experienced by women in so many different forms without “having lost someone" Grief over lost love or betrayal. Grief over lost careers. Grief with health problems, illnesses, accidents. Grief with marriage breakdowns or family separation. Grief with things just not turning out as I had planned here. Suddenly your life has a hole. A gap. A void. Something that was supposed to be there, but isn’t. The rug has been ripped out from under you and you are in free fall.

The three real phases of grief presented in this podcast help teach us compassion, kindness and give us courage and strength that no one else can see, during a journey of grief.

Dedicated to Baxter Ainsworth.
