Highly recommended daily dose of history
Enjoying very much from Brisbane Australia. Much like David McCullough Jon is as easy to listen to as read. Bravo and thanks
Insightful, articulate and compelling
Meecham deftly cuts through much of the largely emotive and baseless rhetoric that dominates today’s public sphere. This isn’t an opinion piece but rather a fascinating dive into the historical links between modern American politics and the state of politics in the 20th century. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.
Relatively interesting
I really like history but I find this quite hard to listen to as the host speaks primarily in a monotone making it very hard to hold attention. The history chosen is also very United States centric
