Rude Tube was devised to celebrate the video up-load revolution that has transformed the world of entertainment in the last five years.   For each programme, tens of thousands of clips are viewed and only the funniest, most extraordinary and downright weird and wonderful videos are chosen (within the bounds of TV compliance) to be included in the show.  Our top fifty clips are then arranged in order of their on-line popularity as determined by the number of hits they've receive worldwide. We now bring you some of the best bits in our Podcast.
Some of the clips are already established internet classics, others are hidden gems unearthed by a dedicated band of researchers.   Where possible the originators of the clips are tracked down and the background story to their moment of internet celebrity is uncovered.
The show highlights new trends and phenomena as they blossom on the uncensored sites of the internet.   Whether its booty shaking, video mashing (recutting classic film and TV footage to give it new and hilarious meaning), couples pranking or elaborate lip syncing,  RUDE TUBE reflects the imagination and madness that represent the most dynamic and fastest changing entertainment platform on the planet.
The show is written and presented by Alex Zane, who is a self confessed internet addict and brings to the show his own unique take on the featured clips and the enthusiasm of a genuine fan.
