Meet Helen and her gorgeous daughter Billie.
Helen travelled interstate to use a clinic recruited ID release donor. She successfully conceived her daughter using IVF. Billie was less than 6 months old when we recorded this episode which gives us great insight into the early days of being a solo mum by choice and how Helen is navigating mum life without family who live in the same state or country. in this episode we also discuss some of the challenges of conceiving in Western Australia currently that has a shortage of local donors and how Helen is building her village around her in the absence of family.
