Scene 21 - Jye Bryant Play Haus

    • Performing Arts

In this week's episode, we chat to our very first composer, Jye Bryant! As a Sydney-based artist, lyricist, author, mentor, teacher and all-round wonderful human, Jye is the creator of ‘Things I Could Never Tell Steven’, ‘Captain Moonlight’ and many other stories. In the studio, he inspires us to pick up our pens and create something wonderful... we hope you do too!
Scene 21 unravels the life of a compose and what it takes to create a memorable and believable story. Jye shares his experiences starting out in community theatre, how he become a published composer, the process of mounting productions right here in Southeast Queensland and how to formulate a good story. He explains that “drama and comedy cannot exist without one another." But that's just one small sneak peeks into an episode filled to the brim with advice! Listen to Jye's teachings, anecdotes and experience a whole lot of laughs along the way. This is an episode for the budding creative and for anyone who supports new work.
