Terrorism on the Streets of London - The Murder of Lee Rigby

Terrorism on the Streets of London - The Murder of Lee Rigby

This week’s episode sees us delve into the distressing world of terrorism. Few will ever forget the truly horrifying events of 2013. The day a brutal act of terrorism was committed in broad daylight on a busy London street.

25-year-old Lee Rigby, a British army soldier, was slaughtered with a meat cleaver and a large hunting knife by two British-born Islamic jihadists, in a murder that shocked the nation to its very core.

    Murder & Mayhem in Glasgow

    Murder & Mayhem in Glasgow

This week, in an episode written by Bethan, we head to Glasgow as we go back in time to May 2008.

When detectives discovered two murder victims, just hours apart, on the outskirts of Glasgow, they knew they must have been linked... But were they? Could it really be possible that two women could be murdered in one week, just a couple of miles apart and this not be the work of a serial killer in the making...?

Join us as we take a deep dive into murder and mayhem in Glasgow.

    Richard Huckle: Britain's Worst Paedophile

This week's episode sees us head to Malaysia as we take a deep dive into the life and sadistic crimes of 33-year-old Englishman Richard Huckle...

Please be warned, this is one of our most graphic episodes. There are (absolutely minimal) descriptions of child sex abuse and extremely graphic descriptions of adult violence.

I will be glad to see the back of this case.

    Tupac & Biggie

    Tupac & Biggie

We are heading back to America this week as we take a deep dive into the unsolved murders of renowned rappers and infamous rivals Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, Biggie Smalls…

This is a complex tale which takes us to the very heart of the east coast/ west coast rivalry that dominated rap culture in 1990’s America. Set against a backdrop of gang warfare, where violence and power were the only currencies worth having, this case sees us attempt to answer a question that has plagued the true crime community for a quarter of a century – just who was responsible for the brutal murders of Tupac and Biggie?

I was inspired to cover this case after watching 'Last Man Standing: Suge Knight and the Murders of Biggie and Tupac' by acclaimed director Nick Broomfiled. In the film, he explores the role of the police in both Tupac and Biggie’s murders. The film comes up with new evidence supporting the theory that the LAPD were complicit and that they attempted to conceal evidence. It takes a real deep dive into the life and crimes of Suge Knight, his rise and dramatic fall, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Tickets are on sale for the preview event of Last Man Standing now. Head to lastmanstanding.film to find your local cinema. The event is on the 30th June in over 130 cinemas nationwide, and will be followed by a Q&A with director Nick Broomfield and collaborator Pam Brooks, who is an absolute legend in this film!
