Lets start with a bit about ourselves. We published a audio/magazine called Sequences for nearly twenty years and in the beginning of 2012 started podcasting on iTunes & more recently on Mixcloud & Soundcloud. We publish two editions each month, approx 3hrs in length.
I have been in Electronic music for over 50 years now, from the early experimental sounds of Karl Heinz Stockhausen, the German scene in the 70's with Tangerine Dream , Klaus Schulze, Robert Schroeder etc. through to some of the more modern, trance, chill-out, ambient music, although we stay away from techno, house, dance and the more pop orientated stuff.
Why not join our group page on Facebook with over 4300 members.

It’s been a crazy spring/summer here in Oz, after all the fires & drought, the rains came, fires out but now the floods, landslides & extensive beach erosion, especially in New South Wales & Victoria. Heaviest falls in 30 years, some having a years worth in 48 hours & more to come.

Let's look on the bright side we still have some storming music for you and I must omit it’s a very diverse selection. Philippe is a composer of new age music & ambient electro in the line of Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis & Era. Ex Tangerine Dream players Paul Haslinger and Peter Baumann new self-titled album Neuland. Exciting melodies and detailed subtleties of Mikael Fyrek. Through cosmic vortexes & comet zones the synthetic neo-k***t vessel E-Musikgruppe-lux-Ohr.
Drawing influences from vintage ambient synth libraries, New Age/spiritual music and menacing horror film canon from Stateside Steve Moore, elements of genres as diverse as jazz post-rock and even classical can be heard playing their part in this original mind-bending tapestry by Yodok III, with many more simultaneously exquisite and deceptively unsettling music from our lineup.

From the ladies, Internationally acclaimed harpist Kirsten Agresta, with beautiful introspective melodies and ambient soundscapes, modular exploration from sound designer Helene Vogelsinger,
French composer Delphine Tesla with etherial bells chimes and atmospheric sounds,
Irma Orm known as Demen, using her voice coolly calmly swathed in reverb with dark cavernous tones and slow rhythms which surround and envelop her & finally Dora Gaitanovici soaring voices against the mighty spacious filling chords of Thy Veils founder Daniel Dorobantu.
Vintage tracks take us back to 1981 with Earthstar’s second album, Atomkraft Nein Danke! from the original vinyl version.

Always like to give you a rundown of new artists appearing on Sequences, starting with Timo Kaukolampi, with a throbbing and pulsating ambient piece, exploring the modular side of electronics, two US female musicians, Ann Annie’s self-exploration of dreams, textures, rhythms & uplifting, transportive and meditational sounds of Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, played on a Buchla Music Easel modular synth, colorful and detailed sequences of Curved Light, electronic manipulations of the cello, processed into unrecognizable textures from Julie Kent.
Husband & wife duo Milosz & Magdelena Pekala, playing percussion instruments with the use of the vibraphone & marimba to great effect, accompanied by Asuna Arashi on synths & electro-acoustics devices. Hypnotic & warm modern grooves of Sine, the four-piece Texan band Thousand Foot Whale Claw, giving us a wall of sound Inspired by progressive 70’s German k***t-rock & finally Mikael Lind collaboration with the Tangs member Hoshiko Yamane, musically both have the knack for creating mesmerizing ambient music with classical influences, violin, viola and piano being at the forefront.
Our vintage track In The Wake Of King Fripp, is taken from the 1975 Heldon album Allez Teia, no surprises here who this track was dedicated to.
Opening for the show, Aussie duo Klaus with their new album Klaus 2, which is not a million miles from Froese, Franke & Schmoelling era of Tangerine Dream, enjoy.

G’day listeners, we are here to take you on another journey into oceans of atmospheric textures, expressive rhythmical dynamics and the unexplained dark tones, cast by our selection of talented musicians who take you on their journey into the sounds of this New Year.

As always, featuring the female side of this genre, Danish synthesist Sofie Birch cosmic caresses & jazz dusting of reality departures, an exploration into the energies by An On Bast, second single from Stephanie Sante from her forth-coming album Dark Matter Evolution, hypnotic & mesmerizing organic ambiance by Panic Girl, & Jennifer Grais spirit-driven voice, teaming up with Byron Metcalf’s rich layering of indigenous instruments, percussive textures & ethereal voices,

Exploring sonic improvisations using a range of portable modular synthesizers as well as a selection of analog keyboards, Nigel Mullaney on the Din label, the music of tomorrow created in a retro manner from Cyberwalker & Walter Christian Rothe chords and melodies straight from the heart, are just some of the talented musicians appearing in this issue.
On a sad note, we lost Michael Allison of Darshan Ambient after a brave fight with cancer, as a fitting tribute, we give you music from his latest album A Day Like Any Other, released just before his passing.
Blast from the past features the track Dune, from Jade Warrior’s 1984 album Horizon, core members of the band were Jon Field still performing & Tony Duhig who passed away in 1990.
