Bonus Episode - Talking to Gail Davies
Gail Davies (born Patricia Gail Dickerson; June 5, 1948)[2] is an American singer-songwriter and the first female record producer in country music. She is the daughter of country singer Tex Dickerson and the sister of songwriter Ron Davies. Gail's son, Chris Scruggs, is a former co-lead singer and guitarist for the roots-country band BR549 and is currently on tour with Marty Stuart as a member of his Fabulous Superlatives. Sylvan @sylvangreeneyes and Jesse @jessejacksonDFW discovered her and her music when Sylvan found her cover of the John Hiatt Song Girl on a String. One thing lead to another and Jesse was lucky enough to talk to this amazing artist. Find out more about her on her website.

Best Bruce Related Podcast
Came across this podcast by Jesse Jackson through a friend who has an album podcast, and I have to say I really love it.
Its different from the usual fan podcasts - its not just loads of people saying how great Springsteen is (ok there is some of that!) but Jesse focusses on the fans themselves - the people and they're fandom and stories. Its really fun and interesting to hear how people relate to Springsteen, why they relate and their journey from being new fans to outright obsessives. I can cal them that as I'm one myself.
Jesse has a really easy manner and it seems like everyone he talks to has been friends with him for years and we're eavesdropping on them just having a chat over a drink.
I'm Bruce daft myself - but witht he over availability of info all the time and the bombarding of stories we can find these days, I'd sort of dropped off being too obsessive (apart from the listenting to music part) - once I heard Jesse's podcast I'm right back in there, reading the books, the blogs, the sites and having a rare old time and remembering why I like Springsteen so much in the first place!!
If you are searching for a Bruce related podcast to listen to CHOOSE THIS ONE, Jesse's chats with fans and the sharing of stories are fun, often moving, always interesting - and thought provoking about yourself! Also Jesse and guests' background knowledge on all things Bruce and other music are really great and well captured on the episodes that digest albums or songs in more detail too.
Can I give "Set Lusting Bruce" with Jesse Jackson 12 stars out of 5 please!
