Apply for Subconscious Self Mastery - my six-month-long group mentorship program beginning 10/25/20.
Rob Starbuck is a Breathwork Facilitator and Artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Rob brings a unique and powerful energy to creating transformative breathwork journeys ranging in size from 10 - 300+ people in Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, and locations around the world.
Rob believes deeply in the power of the breath’s natural ability to transform lives and strip out old belief systems, limiting fears, false identity, and chronic stress that humans experience in today's world. Rob’s message is that we are all-powerful and that our bodies carry infinite information. This raw information becomes unburied through breath and, when integrated, allows us to grow in the purest form.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT
What breathwork is, how breathwork affects our brains and bodies and how it can help us interrupt patterns that we want to shift. What to look for in a breathwork experience and facilitator. Rob’s transformational journey with breathwork and how it’s helped him create space within to heal, live from the heart, and explore his inner depths. How Rob guides others through their own transformational journeys. Rob’s experience with clearing a sexual assault that was suppressed for twelve years through a breathwork session and how that led him to a space of clarity and liberation. Plus so much more... We Can’t Talk About Wellness Without Talking About Social Justice with William Igbokwe

We Can’t Talk About Wellness Without Talking About Social Justice with William Igbokwe

This week’s episode is with my dear friend and law school classmate, William Igbokwe. William is both an attorney and a performer in Portland, Oregon. He views his career in law as just a piece of the larger part of his life’s work as an advocate. In this interview, we discuss a wide range of issues (hence the lengthy title!) primarily related to the law and social justice and how these macro issues affect each of us on the micro-level.
This is my second interview with William and is really a furthering of the conversation we had in Episode 21. Definitely check out that episode first if you haven’t already!

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT
Why we can’t talk about wellness without talking about social justice and how both are intertwined within each other. This is a time for people in the wellness industry to become more active in how they can more holistically support the collective. How COVID-19 sparked an intense community wellness responsibility, but the killings of unarmed Black men and women didn’t invoke the same amount of pressure to protect each other’s safety. Manueving wellness as a Black man with all that’s happening in society and how William has had to look at wellness in a different way.  How we can be both perpetrators of injustice and victims of trauma, and why it’s important to recognize that about ourselves (and others) and reconcile it.

IN THIS EPISODE WE TALK ABOUT
Alexandra as my coach / my personal experiences with her. Making the choice to go deep into our pain and sorrow so we can become more intimate with our truth and get to know our true Self. Being willing to be vulnerable with our painful experiences so we can make them a part of conversations and create change within our Self and in the world. Showing up to life without the need to perform and project for validation, coming forward as who we are, and opening up to the ways that we can create and share from our true Self. Creating a business that accepts all parts of you and allows you the space to be the multidimensional being that you are. And so much more.
