    Having worked in a wide range of clinical nutrition settings over the past twenty-four years, Mari now supports adults with Type 2 Diabetes to become confident in their eating as part of effectively managing blood sugars, without feeling guilt or shame.   

    When Mari is not working, you will find her counting carbs to match her insulin doses to keep up with her spirited daughter. The house piano gets an occasional tinkering, while the family camera gets a workout. Mari also takes her cake decorating seriously but is adamant it’s only ever going to be a hobby.

    I've worked in marketing, niche is the most misunderstood concept.

    Normally perceived as 'small' or 'narrow' ...

    it also attaches to feelings of 'less opportunity' and therefore 'less clients'.

    Which makes sense...

A personal fave, ep. 093, reminds me of a concept I heard many years ago about fearing success because we commonly fear the unknown. Success can take us places we’ve never been before. Thus, it feels ‘more comfortable’ to stick with what we are familiar with, even if it means running the same hamster wheel!
Be prepared to be inspired, and even positively challenged!
