A little life - afterthought
26/08/2018
When I was listening to the episode about 'A Little Life' and the hosts were discussing how they felt about the book, I couldn't help but feel like that was how the characters felt towards Jude... "I was miserable but I kept coming back", "I was hooked, I kept crying but couldn't stop reading" & "I can't remember the last time I had such a complicated relationship" "I didn't enjoy the company of this book at all, but for some reason I couldn't wait to come home to it". It was a really 'ahhh-huh' moment for me.
Intelligent and lively debate

The best book-related podcast I have come across. Intelligent insights from open minds create a really stimulating and enjoyable podcast. Highly recommended.
Very mixed but not good

I listened to the analysis of Julius Cesar by Shakespeare’s which was interesting if not obviously biased but really the discussion on the Handmaiden’s tale, big elephant in the room fundamental Islam and the tele-ban - it IS happening very disappointed

Enjoyable podcast but ladies please stop the vocal fry. It's irritating for us and damaging to your vocal cords!
