Welcome to the seventeenth episode of "Check- in with SomeAnswers". Due to COVID-19 I can't interview people in person, so I've had to pivot and change the way SomeAnswers looks during this season. I am going back and "checking in" with people that I have already interviewed and ask them how they are doing in this season and what God might be teaching them. Please enjoy my conversation with Graham Joseph Hill who also features in ep. 130 of SomeAnswers.

Encouraging, insightful,reflective

I really enjoy listening to Samantha interview people. It seems to me she is good at getting people to open up with their story. I love the “Why the heck do you believe in Jesus?” and I love hearing each person’s reason. I almost can’t believe there are so many answers but of course there would be because our God is so amazing and diverse and oh so thankfully not limited by our perception of Him.

Normal Christian asks another normal Christian questions of faith and life

Samantha Freestone is a fun, engaging host to this podcast about asking normal Christian people questions. A lot of the time Sam meets the guest 15 minutes before recording, as she admits on the podcast. She often goes through their origins and upbringing, dwelling on noticeable points along the way, as well as focusing on their current work and faith journey. She always ends the conversation with the sincere question, "Why the heck do you believe in Jesus?"
I always benefit from listening to the engagement Sam has with the guests. I can learn a lot about people through them sharing their stories. This podcast makes even fairly high profile Christians to seem more approachable and normal. I'm thankful for that. I'd recommend this podcast for everyone.
