Customer Reviews
Get rid of Lovett
Hi there
I really enjoy your pod. The coverage of the entire election cycle was fascinating for someone who doesn't live in the US. You covered the result well despite how it went for your team.
One criticism though is the self aggrandisement and self righteousness of Jon Lovett. He has made your second weekly pod unlistenable for me as he simply speaks just to hear his voice rather than make any meaningful contribution to the debate. I'm all for swearing to make a point of emphasis although in Jon's case it seems to punctuate ill conceived thought bubbles.
I'm sorry to let you know I'm no longer tuning in to any pod that he is on...
You’re better than this .
Firstly all previous reviews are for keeping it 1600 and I think they’ve tried to steal the good will of that podcast to lend to this one. This is a truly soulless podcast for soulless people. Do you care about nothing but your own entertainment ? Do you have no moral centre ? Is doing the right thing vs the wrong thing something you never consider ? Then this is the podcast for you. This is a an incredibly cynical podcast that thinks it can reach a larger audience if it doesn’t pick a side . The issue being that because one side lives in a fantasy land , this makes comparisons of the 2 sides and the removing of any explanation of the implications of election results a intellectually dishonest experience that is worth none of your time .
Totally enjoyable
Never miss a podcast (also listening for melb Australia ) the insight is great. The behind the scenes knowledge is very interesting. Hopefully they will keep people sane for the next 4 years
