    Hippopotamus and Soup

    Hippopotamus and Soup

These two go way back. But that's for you, Glenn and Dave to find out.
Hippo fact. They're an introduced species in Colombia and the USA.
Pablo Escobar is responsible for introducing them to Colombia. The Wikipedia article about that is a pretty interesting read.
Soup-only facts don't have so many murderous drug dealers.
For example; Soups are classified into two groups, clear soups and thick soups, or, Americans eat more than 10 billion bowls of soup each year.

The Great Wall of China and Sticky Rice

The Great Wall of China and Sticky Rice

The Great Wall is over 21,000 kms long.

Sticky rice is also called glutenous rice, but contains no gluten (much like the Great Wall).

The literal translation of the Chinese name for the Great Wall is The Long Wall.

If you store cooked sticky rice it will get sticker over time. And you can freeze it for up to 2 months.

Still not closer to how they're related though.

    X-Rays and Speed Humps

    X-Rays and Speed Humps

X-rays were discovered in 1895 by Willhelm Röntgen, and in many languages other than English are called Röntgen radiation.

Speed b/humps on the other hand weren't discovered or uncovered. They insist on sticking out, with variations known as cushions and tables.

They did however originate around the same time, the first raised road to slow traffic was reported around 1906.

Love it

Have just discovered this great podcast. Thoroughly enjoying it with one concern. Glen can you speak up a bit.... Dave is very loud and you can be very soft and I miss your great punchlines.

Funny as.

Brilliant, two comedians shooting the breeze and being so funny as they do. Listen in you won’t regret it.

Fantastic, best Podcast

Absolutely love listening to this Podcast. Every car trip, work, shops, etc I have an impulse to listen to an episode.
Love the endless banter about nothing between both Dave & Glen.
But for god sakes can either Glen stop mumbling or can someone fix his microphone receiver. It is always difficult to understand him.
Avid listener!
