Customer Reviews
Love it except for info dumps
GREAT podcast except for the info dumps. They’re so annoying and sometimes go for a big part of the episode.
It just feels like stuff most of us know is being explained is laborious detail.
Lost its way
I did adore this podcast and found it so interesting and well presented, it’s quite arduous to get through now and the stories feel strangely loose and not put together. Not cohesive.
I hope it can come back to life. Love the host and am missing her tone throughout.
Pls listen to feedback
This used to be an excellent podcast with interesting stories that had you excited to binge each episode. Sadly this hasn’t been the case for the past few seasons, and recent reviews reflect this. Hopefully the feedback that is being shared will be reflected on by the team as there are no doubt many engaging and powerful stories out there to be told. The stories in season 18 felt like a mish mash of narratives pulled from towards the bottom of the pile, so far from the standard listeners were used to. Season 19 had promise, but an interesting story is bogged down and made boring by too many irrelevant voices retelling the same version of events. My hope for future seasons is also that people sharing their stories are better vetted as many don’t seem prepared to take any accountability for their own poor actions or choices, rather use the podcast to paint themselves in the best light. Platforming these people in a sympathetic manner isn’t encouraging listeners to learn from their mistakes, take accountability and grow from a situation they have a hand in. Wondering if a producer or editor may be able to assist in telling real victims stories in a powerful and engaging way so more people tune in and learn and grow through listening?
