He has experience working with elite athletes and has found that creating an environment that encourages people to enjoy the process of training is beneficial. He has also found that working with the general population at Google has reinforced the basics and has allowed him to build rapport with people and tailor their training.

He also discussed how conversations with other coaches have reinforced the importance of going back to basics and looking at the benefits of different training methods for different individuals. He also discussed how the Google environment is more nurturing and how he tries to make the gym accessible for people who have been intimidated by it.
